And I’m tired.
Not in a dramatic way… just the kind of tired that comes from trying to keep up with everything – cooking, feeding a family, planning meals, shopping, cleaning… all of it.
Somewhere along the way, food started to feel complicated.
Too many ingredients.
Too many steps.
Too much noise on the plate.
So I stopped.
I simplified everything.
These days, I cook very simple meals and mostly vegetarian. Not for rules, not for labels, and definitely not to tell anyone else how to eat. Just because it’s easier.
It cooks faster, it’s lighter on my stomach, and I don’t need a long list of ingredients to make something taste good.
No fake meats.
No 20-step recipes.
No trying to turn one thing into something it’s not.
Just real food, made simply.
This site is just a collection of the meals I actually cook and eat.
The kind of food that:
- doesn’t take a lot of energy
- doesn’t cost a lot at the supermarket
- and still tastes really good
If you want to add meat to any of these recipes, go for it. This is just what works for me.
I don’t meal plan a week in advance. I don’t do big grocery shops. I shop for what I need now, cook what feels easy, and keep things moving.
Less ingredients.
Less mess.
Less mental load.
More time, more space, and more energy for the good parts of life.
